PRIVACY POLICY
WHO WE ARE
This policy explains how REC PLAY LLC, trading as Cantara, handles personal
information collected through cantarasupply.com. Questions, requests and
complaints go to contact@cantarasupply.com.
WHAT WE COLLECT
Information you give us. Your name, email address, shipping and billing address,
phone number if you provide one, and the contents of any message you send us.
Payment card details are entered directly into our payment processors and are
never held by us.
Information collected automatically. Your device and browser type, IP address,
the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, and similar analytics data.
This is collected through cookies and comparable technologies.
Information from others. Our payment processors confirm whether a payment
succeeded and flag suspected fraud. Advertising platforms tell us in aggregate
that an ad led to a visit or a purchase.
WHY WE USE IT
To take payment, fulfil and ship your order, and communicate about it.
To answer support messages and process returns and guarantee claims.
To send marketing email or SMS, only if you asked for it, and only until you
tell us to stop.
To measure which advertising works, and to show ads to people like our
customers.
To detect fraud, and to meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
The legal bases we rely on, where that concept applies to you, are performance
of your contract for order handling, consent for marketing and non-essential
cookies, and legitimate interests for fraud prevention and understanding how the
site is used.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Shopify, which hosts the store and processes orders.
Payment processors including Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay
and PayPal, for taking payment and preventing fraud.
Shipping carriers, for delivering your parcel.
Klaviyo, which sends our email and SMS.
Google Analytics and Meta, which measure site usage and advertising.
Sharing data with advertising platforms so they can measure and target ads may
count as sharing or selling under some United States state privacy laws. You can
opt out at any time by writing to contact@cantarasupply.com, or by using the
cookie controls on the site.
INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
We operate from the United States and our service providers are largely United
States based. If you order from outside the United States, your information is
transferred there and handled under this policy.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, which is
generally seven years. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe, and
then a suppression record is kept so we do not contact you again by mistake.
Support messages are kept for three years.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal
information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a copy in
a portable format, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to opt out of
marketing or of the sharing described above. You may also have the right to
complain to your data protection regulator.
To exercise any of these, email contact@cantarasupply.com. We answer within
thirty days and we do not treat anyone differently for asking.
COOKIES
Essential cookies keep your cart and session working and cannot be switched off.
Analytics and advertising cookies are optional and are controlled by the cookie
banner on the site, and by your browser settings.
CHILDREN
The store is not intended for anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect
their information. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we
will delete it.
CHANGES
If this policy changes we post the new version here with a new date. Material
changes are announced on the site.
